Is there a way to link a fader on a custom control panel to a crosspoint on a matrix mixer? Or a button that would turn the same crosspoint on and off? It seems like the whole matrix is a single object.
I have a feeling this may be a "use serial strings with pin 2 and 3 shorted on the RS-232 port" kind of answer. |

Go to the design tree, find the crosspoint on/off (or volume) that you want, and drag it to a custom control panel. If you just drag and drop it, you'll get a default control. If you want a specific style of control, create the control first and then drop the SV from the design tree onto it.
That's the same happy-dance you have to do if you want to link individual controls in a matrix or if you want to include just part of a matrix in a parameter preset.

To move the rotary dial, you have hold down the shift key. So go into operate mode and hold the shift key, or hold down Alt+Shift while in design mode.
To drag an individual dial from the matrix onto a custom fader or object, go to the design tree/devices/BLU-160 (or whatever processor)/Processor name/default config/Matrix Mixer/Mixer Name/output folder...and there it is.
Those icons in the tree can be dropped from the tree onto a custom panel |
