With the ever growing poularity of Netbooks, is there a way of getting London software to work at 1024x600 resolution? Surely those 168 lines wont be missed?
Thanks! |

I use LA all the time on my netbook. No problem.

You might need to redesign your control panels, or have the people who designed your control panels do it for you.
I run LA at several different resolutions; one thing I have found helpful in design mode is turning on the "screen guidelines" in your design file preferences, which draws a box on your custom control panels the size you ask for, so you can check that your panel will fit in the size you need, since the design mode window is generally smaller than your run mode control panel will be, it can be hard to keep track of where you are :)
One thing to keep in mind: the box is (or at least, it was the last time I checked) the size you ask for, and does not (which I wish it did) compensate for all the toolbars, tabs and menubars that LA draws. There isn't a preset for 1024x600, but you can create a custom size; You'll probably want to tweak it anyway if your design doesn't run full screen. |

The screen guidelines assume you'll be running in full screen mode. They do compensate for the few pixels of border around the screen, but they don't know about the tabs and such. For that, you'd need to just enter in the custom values.
